Entrepreneurship culture often glorifies “growth at all costs.” Startup accelerators measure success in valuation. Business media praises those who scale the fastest. The pressure can be intoxicating, and for a while, it feels like progress. What I’m going to say now is difficult for entrepreneurs to believe, but money must stay in its rightful place: a servant of the mission, not the master of it.
